Club Penguin - Parent Update

Dear Parents:

Ever dream of changing your identity or exploring a new place? One thing kids love about Club Penguin is how it lets them do just that! Especially this month, when the snow-covered island transforms into a mythical, medieval landscape where heroes rule the day!

Starting May 17, princesses, knights, and dragons take over the island at the Medieval Party. Members can dress up, conquer quests and defeat Scorn the Dragon King. Here’s a hint to pass along to your child: In the Town, members who have the Skyward Staff can use it to help friends get into the magical Sky Kingdom.

Puffle Trouble

What happens when you combine adorable pet puffles and one of Club Penguin’s grumpiest villains, Herbert P. Bear? Trouble. Herbert wants to stop penguin parties from happening, and puffles just want to have fun. Watch Club Penguin’s 2nd animated short film with your child to see how the story unfolds.

Perfect Pet Care
Perfect Pet Care

Recently, we asked whether caring for a puffle had helped your child be a better pet owner in the real world. Here’s what you told us:

”Taking care of her puffles on Club Penguin helps my child take care of our pets in real life. She feeds them, takes them on walks, and gives them treats.”

”My child has paid more attention ever since she got a puffle. She's afraid her bunny will go back to the wilderness if she doesn't take as much care of it as she can.”

”Caring for the puffle did help my son become a better pet owner. He no longer squishes his cat.”

Whether you need more info on puffles, tips and hints to pass along to your child, or answers to your support questions, Twitter is a great way to stay connected with Club Penguin. Follow@CPParents and @SupportatCP.
